FJMU alumni recently visited respected Honory President Dr. Yun-Ying Shen (
). Dear Dr. Shen is a beloved professor of Fujian Medical University. She has been very supportive to AAFMUA and has always been a valuable advisor to the association. She has resided in California in recent years. In August 2002, Drs. Defu Zheng and Minggui Pan
represented AAFMUA in visiting Dr. Shen. During the visit, the alumni and Dr. Shen celebrated her 80th birthday.
In September 2002, Dr. Ruoqing Huang, also Honory President,visited Dr. Shen, again on behalf of the all members of the AAFMUA working committee to wish her the best. We all love and care for Dr. Yunying Shen. We hope that she recovers from her recent illness soon.
