What people say about the Las Vegas reunion
The Drum of Las Vegas
Although two weeks have been pasted since we beat the drum in Las
Vegas, the happy memories of reunion are still enriching our minds. It was a
little surprise to me that an incredible number of classmates coming
from more than ten different states in U.S. had attended this gathering.
Be honest with you, I was not so optimistic in the beginning of the
communication and discussion stages. It turned out that I was wrong in the
end. I believed that the forces of expressing the thoughts and feelings
of friendship are so powerful that no one can make any excuse to reject
these attractions**.. Finally, we were coming from all directions
gathering in a ballroom at Las Vegas to share a common ideal and to discuss
"affairs of state".
The activities of reunion have received favorable comments from all
classmates and will delight them with many beautiful pictures. At least
the happy memories from Las Vegas make me laughing secretly when I sit
quietly in front of computer to send email to you.
From these points of view, I would like to thank to the "Central
Committee" for providing an opportunity for all of us to have chance to meet
together, share information and have fun for laughing, talking, joking,
singing and dancing, eating and drinking **.even crying ( oh*.. a baby
fell to the floor).
The organization for reunion was so successful that all of us have a
wonderful time in Las Vegas.
Here, I have to mention a few people and thank to them because they
made great efforts and contributions to the reunion party.
Special thanks to:
(1) Yi-Shun , a key initiator and leadership
(2) Ling Zheng and Ke Zhang, hard workers for assistance
(3) Yi Zhang, an active coordinator
(4) Taosheng, along with all folks from west coast to help in setting
and decorating the ballroom with plenty of food and drinks.
(5) Hui Liao and Xian Chen, a valuable gift brought from Fuzhou: the
classmate's address book.
(6) All of the classmates, who had attended this event , your
participating is great appreciated
(7) I would also like SPECIALLY to thank to those who were not able to
attend this event, but provided and participated in exchanging a lot of
information and sources of sense of humor for this reunion party.
Essentially, without anyone of you to have a hand in this event, the
reunion party would not be so perfect and colorful**.. In other words, or
from "political point of view", the echo of drum in Las Vegas was not
only ringing in the Nevada, U.S. at August, but also resound in the
Fuzhou, --China at October.
Since the drum of Las Vegas has begun, I will positively predict that
the happy memories of our reunion are not often occurring in the past,
but it will be coming in our schedule more frequency in future.
